Collection: Japanese Hydrogen Water Machine

Japanese hydrogen water machines set the global standard for electrolysis precision and material integrity. Holy Hydrogen brings that engineering to your home.

Why a Japanese Hydrogen Water Machine Is Worth Looking At

A Japanese hydrogen water machine is only as good as the paperwork behind it. The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition is designed, manufactured and assembled in Japan with Japanese-made parts, and it uses separate-chamber electrolysis: the electrolysis happens in its own chamber, so your drinking water never directly contacts the electrodes. If you're looking for the best machine for hydrogen water, that separation is the design detail to look for first, because it keeps the water you drink out of the electrode compartment entirely.

Separate-Chamber Electrolysis Technology

Many hydrogen water machines run electrolysis directly in the water you drink. The Hydrofix keeps the two apart. Electrolysis runs in a separate chamber, and the hydrogen it produces is dissolved into the pitcher water in very fine bubbles through a Japanese-made multi-layer fiber-reinforced polymer membrane. Your water stays pH neutral, within ±0.1 of the source water. You're not filtering out electrode material after the fact. The water never touched the electrodes in the first place.

High-Purity Hydrogen Water You Can Check

At Holy Hydrogen, purity is a lab result you can read. Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL), an accredited Japanese laboratory, tested the water produced by the Hydrofix (Certificate No. 2302B7007001-0201, May 16, 2023). Selected plasticizers (phthalates DEHP, DINP, DIDP), BPA, iron and titanium were not detected under test conditions, and the water meets Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare drinking-water quality standards. The machine dissolves up to approximately 1.6 ppm of molecular hydrogen (±0.05 ppm), and every unit ships with its own hydrogen concentration certificate. We publish the reports on our certifications page because transparency matters more than superlatives.

What Sets This Japanese Hydrogen Water Machine Apart

The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition uses solid, high-purity titanium-platinum electrodes, a Japanese-made polymer membrane, and a BPA- and BPHF-free Japanese-made pitcher. The electrodes are 99.928% pure titanium, mill-certified to JIS TP270C, with the platinum catalyst bonded at the molecular level through high-temperature processing. There is no coating and no plating to wear off. Every unit is individually tested at the factory in Japan before it ships. The proof is a certificate in the box with your machine's own number on it.

Engineered for Daily Use, Not Occasional Experiments

You'll use this water machine every day, so it needs to hold up for years, not months. The Hydrofix is built around that: solid electrodes with nothing to flake off, a separate electrolysis chamber, and a cartridge you replace once every 12 months. The suggested routine is one to two 1.5 L pitchers of hydrogen water a day, plus a 30-minute inhalation session if you use the included inhalation kit. It's a countertop machine that plugs into the wall through a universal AC/DC adapter; it has no battery and is not portable in the travel sense.

Not an Ionizer and Not a Water Purifier

Water ionizers change pH. Water purifiers remove contaminants. A Japanese hydrogen water machine like the Hydrofix does something different: it adds molecular hydrogen to the water you already drink. It is not an ionizer, and it isn't a replacement for your water filter. It runs on tap, well, filtered, mineral, spring, alkaline, reverse osmosis or distilled water (not saltwater or seawater). Because the pH stays within ±0.1 of the source and nothing is added to the mineral content, you get hydrogen-rich water that still tastes like water. We explain the difference further in hydrogen water vs alkaline water.

How Molecular Hydrogen Water Fits Your Routine

Molecular hydrogen water adds to your normal hydration; it doesn't replace it. Molecular hydrogen is being studied in a growing number of published studies; see our research library. We don't make outcome claims. We build a machine that produces a verified hydrogen concentration so you can read the research and decide for yourself.

Hydrogen Gas You Can Drink and Inhale

The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition generates both hydrogen-rich water and hydrogen gas for inhalation. You can drink the water through the day or attach the included inhalation lid and 2 m cannula for an inhalation session. The gas output spec is 120 mL/min; Masa International Corp. independently measured 134.2 mL/min (Test No. MM03-6024-01, May 2025), and Prof. Katsuhiko Nakamuro (Professor Emeritus, Setsunan University; Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences) reviewed the test report on September 5, 2025. One machine, two ways to use molecular hydrogen.

Simple Maintenance, No Subscription

You replace the cartridge every 12 months. That's the scheduled maintenance. No subscription requirements. The machine ships with a pre-installed cartridge, the universal AC/DC adapter, a measuring cup, the inhalation kit, a Certificate of Authenticity and an English user's manual, so you can run your first pitcher the day it arrives. Fill the 1.5 L pitcher, press start, and pour when the cycle is done.

Japanese Manufacturing Standards You Can Verify

The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition is designed, manufactured and assembled in Japan with Japanese-made parts. Its electronic and electrode components are made in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certified factories. It carries UL/CSA product-safety compliance and Japan PSE (Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law) certification. The titanium in the electrodes comes with a mill certificate (JIS TP270C, February 28, 2018). When you buy from Holy Hydrogen, those documents are what "Japanese quality" means, and you can read every one of them on the certifications page.

Solid Titanium-Platinum Electrodes

The electrodes that split water into hydrogen and oxygen are solid, high-purity titanium with the platinum catalyst bonded at the molecular level through high-temperature processing. Platinum is one of the most stable catalysts available, and because there is no coating and no plating, there is nothing to wear through over years of use. We can't speak to what other machines use inside, so we'll only show you ours: the mill certificate, the JFRL purity report, and the per-unit concentration certificate.

12-Month Warranty

Your Japanese hydrogen water machine is covered by a 12-month warranty. If something fails in that period, contact us. We stand behind the engineering because every unit is factory-tested in Japan before it reaches your home.

Why Holy Hydrogen Sells One Hydrogen Machine

Holy Hydrogen sells one hydrogen water machine: the Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition. We don't offer multiple models or tiered versions. We chose a machine with engineering transparency, documented materials and purity verification, and we sell it in the United States through holyhydrogen.com, shipping directly to the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. One machine, hand-built and factory-tested in Japan.

Good Enough for Our Families

Every claim on this page passes through one filter: can we show the document? That standard applies to electrode materials, the pitcher, the membrane, and the testing our Japanese manufacturing partners do on every unit. You're not buying a product from a faceless company. You're buying a machine from people who use it themselves and who put the paperwork where you can read it.

Transparency Over Marketing

We publish lab test results. We explain how separate-chamber electrolysis works. We show you the engineering instead of hiding behind lifestyle imagery and vague claims. You'll find the specs, the certifications and the independent testing on our certifications page and the product page. If you have questions our site doesn't answer, ask our support team. We'd rather inform you than sell you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Number One Hydrogen Machine in Japan?

We can't rank machines sold in Japan, and we won't pretend to. What we can show is what the Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition is: a Japanese-designed, Japanese-built hydrogen water machine with separate-chamber electrolysis, solid titanium-platinum electrodes, a JFRL purity certificate, independently measured gas output, and a hydrogen concentration certificate for every unit. Compare those documents against any other machine you're considering.

Do the Japanese Drink Hydrogen Water?

Hydrogen water machines are made and sold in Japan, and the Hydrofix is one of them: designed, manufactured and assembled there, and tested by Japanese laboratories. We don't have verified figures on how many Japanese households use one, so we won't quote any. Dr. Akihiko Adachi, MD, PhD, a neurosurgeon (Deputy Director of Neurosurgery, Narita Red Cross Hospital), recommends the Hydrofix as a hydrogen gas inhaler because of its gas output (~120 mL/min) and purity; his words are on our certifications page.

What Water Can I Use in the Machine?

Tap, well, filtered, mineral, spring, alkaline, reverse osmosis or distilled water all work. Don't use saltwater or seawater. The pitcher holds 1.5 L, and the machine measures 276 mm × 289 mm × 147 mm (10.87" × 11.38" × 5.79") and weighs 1.75 kg (3.86 lb), so it fits on most counters. Hydrogen water is not a medical treatment, and if you have a health question, ask your healthcare provider.

Does It Ship to My Country?

The Hydrofix ships directly to the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The universal AC/DC adapter accepts 100–240V, 50/60 Hz input, so it works on the mains in all of those countries. We do not ship to the EU/EEA.

See how we test for purity, not just performance. Get the Hydrofix, then read the lab reports on our certifications page and see why a Japanese hydrogen water machine built to last starts with documents, not slogans.
