How a Hydrogen Water System Works
A hydrogen water system uses electrolysis to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen gas dissolves into your drinking water, creating hydrogen-rich water. Many systems run electrolysis directly in the water you drink. Dual-Chamber Electrolysis Explained
The Lourdes Hydrofix runs electrolysis in a separate chamber built around solid titanium electrodes and a Japanese-made multi-layer fiber-reinforced polymer membrane. Hydrogen is dissolved into the pitcher water in very fine bubbles, and the water's pH stays within ±0.1 of the source. The machine produces up to approximately 1.6 ppm dissolved hydrogen, and each unit ships with a hydrogen concentration certificate from factory testing in Japan.
Hydrogen Gas for Inhalation
Beyond drinking hydrogen water, the system generates hydrogen gas you can inhale through the included inhalation lid and 2 m cannula. Gas output is 120 mL/min by spec, independently measured at 134.2 mL/min by Masa International Corp. (May 2025). The suggested routine adds a 30-minute inhalation session if you use the kit.
