Collection: Hydrogen Water Infuser

A hydrogen water infuser uses electrolysis to generate molecular hydrogen in regular water. Our Japanese-built system delivers lab-verified hydrogen-rich water through separate-chamber engineering designed for home use.

How a Hydrogen Water Infuser Works

A hydrogen water infuser generates molecular hydrogen by running an electrical current through water. The process, called electrolysis, splits H₂O molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, and the hydrogen is then dissolved into your drinking water. The result is hydrogen-rich water you can drink right away. Unlike a hydrogen water bottle that makes a single serving at a time, a home hydrogen water infuser like the Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition makes a full 1.5 L pitcher per batch and also produces hydrogen gas for inhalation.

Dual Chamber Electrolysis Technology

Our hydrogen water infuser uses separate-chamber electrolysis: the electrolysis happens in its own chamber, so your drinking water never directly contacts the electrodes. Hydrogen is dissolved into the pitcher water in very fine bubbles, and the water's pH stays within ±0.1 of the source water. The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition produces dissolved hydrogen up to approximately 1.6 ppm (±0.05 ppm). Every unit is individually tested at the factory in Japan and ships with its own hydrogen concentration certificate, so you get a measured figure for your machine, not a brochure number.

Why Hydrogen Concentration Matters

Concentration is the number that tells you what a hydrogen water infuser actually puts in the glass. Up to approximately 1.6 ppm is what the product page calls full saturation. We don't tell you what that concentration does for you. Molecular hydrogen is being studied in a growing number of published studies, and you can read about that in our research library. What we can tell you is the figure, who measured it, and that it was measured on the unit in your box. No guesswork, no inflated claims.

Choosing the Right Water Infuser for Your Home

Not all hydrogen machines are built the same. Production method, materials and where the machine is made determine whether your water infuser delivers what it promises or just adds another appliance to your counter. Here's what separates a documented hydrogen water infuser from the rest.

Japanese Manufacturing Standards

Our hydrogen infused water machine is designed, manufactured and assembled in Japan with Japanese-made parts. Its electronic and electrode components come from ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certified factories. The electrodes are solid titanium, 99.928% pure and mill-certified to JIS TP270C, with the platinum catalyst bonded at the molecular level through high-temperature processing. There is no plating and no coating to wear off. The pitcher is Japanese-made and BPA- and BPHF-free. It is a machine built to last for years.

Hydrogen Water Bottle vs. Home System

A hydrogen water bottle works for travel or single servings. The Hydrofix is not portable: it is a countertop machine with no battery that plugs into the wall through a universal AC/DC adapter. In return, a home hydrogen water infuser gives you a full 1.5 L pitcher per batch and a hydrogen gas inhalation kit in the same box. If you're making hydrogen-rich water for a household or several times a day, a countertop system is the better fit. We sell the countertop machine; we don't sell bottles. The trade-off in detail: hydrogen water bottle vs. machine.

Water Quality and the Cartridge

Your hydrogen water infuser works with the water you already have: tap, well, filtered, mineral, spring, alkaline, reverse osmosis or distilled. Not saltwater or seawater. Our best hydrogen water infuser ships with a pre-installed cartridge, which you replace every 12 months. There is no multi-stage filtration system built in, and we won't claim one; if your tap water is poor, use the filtered water you'd drink anyway. Purity was tested by Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL), an accredited Japanese laboratory (Certificate No. 2302B7007001-0201, May 16, 2023): selected plasticizers (DEHP, DINP, DIDP), BPA, iron and titanium were not detected in the water the Hydrofix produces, under test conditions, and the water meets Japan's official drinking-water quality standards.

What Research Says About Hydrogen-Rich Water

Molecular hydrogen is being studied in a growing number of published studies. We don't make outcome-based claims about what drinking it does, and we don't summarize the studies here, because a product page is the wrong place to do it. We keep a research library so you can read the published work yourself and draw your own conclusions.

How Much to Drink and When

Our suggested use is 1–2 pitchers of hydrogen water a day, plus a 30-minute inhalation session if you use the included inhalation kit. Dissolved hydrogen leaves water over time once it is open to the air, so drink it soon after you make it rather than letting a pitcher sit all day. We don't publish a retention curve and won't quote one. Make it, pour it, drink it.

What We Measure Instead

Rather than describing effects, we measure the machine. Dissolved hydrogen: up to approximately 1.6 ppm (±0.05 ppm), with a certificate for each unit. Hydrogen gas output for inhalation: 120 mL/min as the spec, independently measured at 134.2 mL/min by Masa International Corp., Kyoto, Japan (Test No. MM03-6024-01, May 2025), in a report reviewed by Prof. Katsuhiko Nakamuro (Professor Emeritus, Setsunan University; Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences) on September 5, 2025. pH: within ±0.1 of the source water. The certifications page also shows improved ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) results. Those are the numbers we stand behind.

Common Questions About Drinking Hydrogen Water

If you're new to hydrogen-rich water, you probably have questions about what's in it, how to use it and what comes with the machine. Here's what we hear most often from customers researching hydrogen water infusers for the first time.

What Is Actually in Hydrogen Water?

Hydrogen water from the Hydrofix is your source water with dissolved molecular hydrogen and the same pH, within ±0.1. Electrolysis adds nothing else to it. We don't make claims about effects, good or bad. Molecular hydrogen is being studied in a growing number of published studies; see our research library. If you have questions about your own situation, ask your doctor.

Does Hydrogen Water Change the Water's pH or Minerals?

No. The Hydrofix is not an ionizer. Ionizers shift pH; the Hydrofix keeps pH within ±0.1 of the source water and dissolves molecular hydrogen through separate-chamber electrolysis. JFRL did not detect selected plasticizers, BPA, iron or titanium in the water it produces, under test conditions. More on the difference: hydrogen water vs. alkaline water.

What Not to Mix With Hydrogen Water?

Hydrogen water is just water with dissolved molecular hydrogen. You can drink it on its own or use it to make tea or coffee, though heating lets the hydrogen escape faster. Dissolved hydrogen leaves water once it's open to the air, so drink it plain and freshly made for the highest concentration. Don't leave it in an open glass for hours. And don't put saltwater or seawater in the machine.

What Comes in the Box?

The Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition, an inhalation lid with a 2 m premium H₂ cannula (a free inhalation kit, a $99 value), a universal AC/DC adapter, a pre-installed cartridge, a measuring cup, a certificate of authenticity and an English user's manual. Each unit also ships with its own hydrogen concentration certificate from the factory in Japan.

Why We Sell This Hydrogen Water Infuser

Holy Hydrogen sells one hydrogen water infuser, the Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition, because it is the machine whose claims we could verify: hand-built in Japan, factory-tested in Japan, with a mill certificate for the titanium, an accredited-lab purity test, an independent gas-output measurement and a per-unit hydrogen concentration certificate. Every hydrogen water infuser we ship is held to that standard. If we can't document it, we don't say it.

One-Year Warranty

We back every hydrogen water infuser with a 12-month warranty. Beyond that, the machine is built to last: solid titanium electrodes with no plating and no coating to wear off, a Japanese-made multi-layer fiber-reinforced polymer membrane, and one cartridge a year. It is built to stay on your counter.

Third-Party Testing and Transparency

Every unit is individually tested at the factory in Japan before shipping. Purity was tested by JFRL, an accredited laboratory, and the inhalation gas output was independently measured by Masa International Corp. The machine carries UL/CSA product-safety compliance and Japan PSE certification. The documents are published on our certifications page so you can read them yourself. We publish the data because we want you to trust the machine, not just the marketing.

Designed for Daily Use at Home

Our hydrogen water infuser sits on your counter (276 mm × 289 mm × 147 mm; 1.75 kg) and plugs into a standard outlet through its universal adapter (100–240V, 50/60 Hz). Fill the 1.5 L pitcher, run it, and pour. For inhalation, swap on the included lid and cannula. Maintenance is simple: replace the cartridge every 12 months. The English user's manual in the box covers the rest.
