The Birth of the Lourdes Hydrofix: A Father's Commitment to Purity

A Personal Mission for Uncompromising Safety The journey to create the Lourdes Hydrofix began in 2008, following the birth of creator Takashi Hida’s daughter. Born with severe health challenges, she required constant care and possessed a highly sensitive system. Because she was unable to naturally process and eliminate impurities like a healthy person can, her doctor warned that even the slightest exposure to everyday airborne microscopic dust, bacteria, or chemicals could be deeply harmful.

The Search for True Purity Wanting to provide the best possible hydration and quality of life for his daughter, Mr. Hida began researching molecular hydrogen. He consulted with his daughter's doctor, who agreed to the use of hydrogen water under one strict condition: the water must contain absolutely no impurities.

The Unacceptable Industry Standard Determined to meet this standard, Mr. Hida acquired every hydrogen water generator and alkaline ionizer available on the market. However, after rigorous testing alongside industry experts, he discovered a disheartening truth: not a single product met the safety specifications required for his daughter. He realized that most manufacturers relied on cheap overseas materials and outdated technologies to cut costs, which introduced the risk of harmful chemicals or impurities mixing with the final drinking water. For his daughter, any potential benefit of hydrogen would be completely overshadowed by the risk these impurities posed.

Engineering a New Standard of Excellence Unwilling to compromise his daughter's safety, Mr. Hida made a life-changing decision: if a truly pure and safe hydrogen generator did not exist, he would build one himself. He collaborated with talented engineers and leading Japanese companies—including those associated with Toyota, Yamaha, G-shock, Sabae Kogyo, and Kobe Steel—to create a device from the ground up. To eliminate the risk of impurities, the team developed a groundbreaking new technology: the "complete separate chamber electrolysis" method. This innovation not only produced zero impurities but was designed to allow users to visually detect any abnormalities during production. To guarantee the utmost safety and reliability, Mr. Hida insisted on using exclusively premium, high-quality Japanese-made components.

The Lourdes Hydrofix Today Finally, in 2016, after years of relentless dedication and meticulous engineering, the Lourdes Hydrofix was completed. Originally created not for profit, but out of a father’s profound love, the Lourdes Hydrofix exists to provide the world with a pure, safe, and reliable hydrogen generator that families can trust.

Today, Mr. Hida's daughter is a happy adult. The Lourdes Hydrofix remains by her bed, continuing to provide her with the purest, safest hydration possible. Watching her grow has been his greatest joy, and this machine stands as an enduring testament to the lengths a parent will go to for their child.
