She does not do tidy labels
Ask Slavomila Zachova to introduce herself and she pauses. Who she is, she says, "depends what perspective we're talking from." She is careful with words in the same way she is careful with what she drinks, and she would rather leave a question open than answer it loosely.
Some things she will say plainly. She has owned a Lourdes Hydrofix Premium Edition for close to four years. "I have had it since it might have been late 2021 or early 2022," she says. She is the only person in her household who uses it. And she is still using it today.
Trust in a person came before trust in the science
Hydrogen was not something Slavomila went looking for. "I never looked into hydrogen. I never heard of it," she says. That changed with an interview she came across on YouTube. What held her attention was not the subject but the person speaking, who struck her as "very, very, extremely pure." She searched for a better word and could not find one.
For her, that impression mattered more than any argument. "When you register a purity about a person, then you definitely listen to what the person says in a very receiving way than you otherwise would," she says. Only after that did she go and read. She went to the Holy Hydrogen website to look at the scientific side of hydrogen for herself, and because she already trusted the person who had pointed her there, the material landed differently than it otherwise would have.
Her guard was up for a reason. She had seen enough of the hydrogen category to know that not every seller is straightforward about details, and that many machines, in her words, "all kind of pretend to be the original." What she wanted was "the accurate information, the original source."
Why this machine
Once she had the background, the build details lined up with it. She points to "the pure components that are not coated," which is her way of describing the solid titanium-platinum electrodes inside the Lourdes Hydrofix, and to "the little computer that sits in the system," which she understands to be the costliest single part of the machine. Looking at other machines only confirmed what she had learned. "Once you have the information and you then look into this topic, then because you have the information, then you can see it very easy," she says.

"I was already into pure water and was drinking, buying the purest water of Germany in dark green glass bottles," she says. She fills her Lourdes Hydrofix with distilled water, so adding hydrogen to water she had already purified felt like a continuation of that habit rather than a departure. "It just became even more pure," she says. Otherwise, she kept her expectations simple. "I was curious to see what the hydrogen might do for me."
Kitchen, bedroom, kitchen
Slavomila's routine has never been rigid, and she does not pretend otherwise. From the beginning, "I was using it every day, drinking it every day," she says, and she inhaled hydrogen as well, though not on a fixed schedule. Because the Lourdes Hydrofix handles both drinking water and inhalation from one device, hers has spent years traveling between rooms.
"I would have periods of time where I would be breathing it every night, then I'd move the machine back to the kitchen to be drinking it more again," she says. That back-and-forth has led her to a firm opinion about where a hydrogen machine belongs. "At best, one would have to have two machines, because you need to have one where you sleep so that you can breathe it as you fall asleep," she says, and one in the kitchen so drinking it stays a habit. She laughs at her own conclusion: "I would even wanna have three machines."
Still at it
Asked whether she would make the same choice again, the question does not quite fit her situation, because the practice never stopped. "I'm still doing it all the time. Off and on. Off and on," she says.
Asked what she would miss if the machine vanished from her counter, her answer is immediate. "The hydrogen bubbles. You still have the distilled water, but you won't have the hydrogen bubbles," she says. For someone who spent years seeking out the purest water she could find, the hydrogen is the part she is not willing to go without.
Easy does it
What does she wish someone had told her at the start? "Easy does it," she says. Then, after a moment: "The truth tends to be simple. When we do things the accurate way, then they are easy and simple."
And what should someone still researching hear? She does not hesitate. "There is only one original, genuine hydrogen machine."
