From Uncertain Tablets to a Daily Lifestyle: How Joseph Found His Hydrogen Practice Through One Honest Phone Call

A man who just wants to be the healthiest version of himself

Ask Joseph C. Gregory who he is, and the answer arrives without hesitation. "I am just a man who wants to be the healthiest version of myself," he says, "and I like to enjoy nature. I like to try to be natural, and I like to be spiritual. I like to work out. I like to feel good. I like to stay lean, and I just like to feel love from the world."

For three or four years now, the Lourdes Hydrofix has been part of that pursuit, sitting on his counter and folding into his mornings. "It's been pretty pleasant, I must say," he reflects.

But rewind to the beginning and the picture was heavier. Joseph had just lost his mother, and he was looking for something that would help him feel like himself again. "I was very emotional," he says. "There was just a lot going on in my life at the time." Underneath the grief was something simpler, the same pull that has always moved him. "Just to try a new thing," he says, to "experience more in this life." He was always looking for an edge in his training, always looking to be healthier. "Something about hydrogen, it just felt right to me."

Tablets and pouches that left him unsure whether anything was working

Before the Hydrofix, Joseph did what many research-minded people do: he experimented with the accessible options first. He bought a box of hydrogen tablets and tried the pouches of hydrogen water sold at his grocery store. That was the extent of it.

The trouble was not that they were hard to find. It was that they left him with no sense of whether they mattered. When asked what he made of those choices, his answer was refreshingly honest.

"I'm not sure if it worked or not, you know? I just... I, I don't really know."

That uncertainty is the quiet frustration at the heart of the cheaper end of the hydrogen category. You pop a tablet or tear open a pouch, and you are left guessing. For someone motivated by feeling genuinely good, not just going through the motions, guessing was not enough. Layered on top of a difficult season in his life, Joseph wanted something he could believe in, and something he could feel.

A video, an email, and a phone call that changed everything

The turning point did not come from an ad. It came from his own searching. Joseph was on YouTube, working through various topics, when a video about hydrogen surfaced in his feed.

He watched. He liked what he saw. But being a careful person, he wanted more than a video could give him, so he sent an email, and the man on the other end called him back. Not a salesperson. Another owner, someone who had been through it himself.

"I was very touched that he called me, and he spent a lot of time talking to me," Joseph says.

That conversation did the work no spec sheet could. When asked the question every Holy Hydrogen customer hears, why he chose this machine over every other hydrogen option, Joseph did not lead with specifications. He led with the person who took the time: "He was kind, he was intelligent, he was knowledgeable."

The engineering mattered too. "The product was made in Japan, so that went a long way." But the order was clear to him. Trust came first. Japan confirmed it.

"It was so expensive, but I bought it anyway"

Joseph is candid about what almost stopped him. Asked what nearly held him back, he did not dress it up: "Obviously, the price."

What tipped the scale was a mix of trust and resolve. "It was so expensive, but I bought it anyway... So you know what? You only live once, and I bought it." Years later, he has no second thoughts about the money. "It was a great investment."

When the machine arrived, the excitement was real, and so was that first glass. "As soon as I drank the first glass, I started to feel a little... I felt a little something, something," he says. He struggled to describe the sensation, adding that he definitely felt something, and then it expounded upon itself as time went on.

These days the routine is simple and lives entirely at home. Every day when he's at home, mostly in the morning, Joseph uses it. "I drink a liter in the morning. No specific time, but I get it in." He is honest, too, that he has not yet explored inhalation, given how his space is set up and how busy his days are, though the tubes are clean and ready. "I plan to in the future," he says. For Joseph, the drinking water alone has been enough to build a habit he keeps.

When the water is worth it, feeling better becomes a lifestyle

Joseph did not measure his results in numbers or dollars. He measured them in how his days felt, and the change built slowly.

"Just after a couple weeks, I just started feeling better and better," he says. "It's not really a moment, it's more like a lifestyle."

Pressed for specifics, he described a cascade of small, daily wins. After about two weeks, he gradually started feeling "more rested upon waking, better recovery from exercise in the gym." There was something less tangible, too. "It made me feel a little more spiritual in a sense where life was a little more colorful. It was just overall a great experience."

For Joseph, whose story is about wellness and outlook rather than metrics, the value shows up in language most spreadsheets cannot hold. He talks about feeling "uplifted" and moving through life "synergistically." And when asked what it all adds up to, he does not hesitate.

"It means everything to me because health is wealth." He would do it again, he says, adding: "So of course, I would do it again 100 times over."

Ask what he would miss if the machine vanished tomorrow, and the answer is short: "I would miss everything and I would order a new one."

"Invest in yourself. You have no excuses. It's 2026"

Years in, Joseph's advice for anyone standing where he once stood is direct. "Hands down, just get it and just use it... Just do it. Invest in yourself. You have no excuses. It's 2026. Invest in yourself. Be the best version of yourself. Utilize this beautiful hydrogen and just enhance your life."

He points fellow researchers toward doing the same homework he did, and frames the decision as an act of self-belief. "Sometimes in life, you gotta take a chance on yourself. So order the machine and improve the quality of your life."

He is careful about how he describes himself, and that honesty is exactly what makes his story land. "I'm not a brand ambassador, I'm not a brand advocate, but I am a happy consumer."
